Art Nouveau Hanging Panel
Client brief - a tall panel to hang on an unused door, which must be portable so they can take it with them when they move house. The client provided several sketches and photocopies of style ideas, the panel was then designed to their specification in the art nouveau style.
Iris window
Client brief - The client had a strong idea of what she wanted for this internal window, and provided a postcard with the design, which we translated into this large internal panel. After designing and producing the window we also carried out the fitting.
Bentham Methodist Church Repairs
In-situ replacement of broken and missing glass, and cleaning the lead. Often repairs to simple windows can be done in situ, saving time and expense for the client.
Mull Landscape Panel
New commission in progress. Client brief - a panel for an internal aperture, combining the elements of the yellow flag-iris with the landscape of the Isle of Mull. After providing rough designs the client chose their favoured elements from each and we worked together to produce the final design.
Mill-Race and Wildlife Panel
New Commission in progress. Client brief - combining ideas of the wildlife landscape surrounding the property, this design is intended for use in twin panels above the doors to childrens' bedrooms.
Reconditioning an Art-Deco panel
Often the lead in old panels can become warped or otherwise damaged, rendering it unusable even if the glass is intact. We can take such a panel apart, clean, re-lead and re-cement it to make it good as new, whilst retaining the beauty and integrity of the old glass.
